Fort Lauderdale is a top travel destination in Florida year after year, drawing tourists by the thousands to its beautiful beaches, four star resorts, and high-end dining…but Rallycross? Last weekend Red Bull kicked off the “Red Bull Global Rallycross” series, with the first of twelve stops in nine different cities in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Transforming this tourist hotspot into an intense, technical Rallycross track that circled a hotel and even shut down a section of Route A1A making way for the weekend-long, televised event that was there one week and gone the next.
Our AMI Installation Crew, fueled on Red Bull, worked around the clock to brand a very active Ft. Lauderdale street and tourist area, transforming it into a world class, Rallycross track. They installed over 4,000 linear feet of on-track signage, as well as mesh banners and scaffold covers, in the Florida sunshine in just over 5 days - all to be taken down just as quickly, leaving no trace of the high profile event.
