Welcome Student-Athletes Back with Window Graphics

With students gone and buildings quiet, winter break is the perfect time to complete facility signage projects in time for the new semester. Signage and branding projects can give tired facilities a fresh, new look, add color and school spirit to blank spaces, and much more. Window graphics are a simple and cost-effective signage solution that can turn blank and empty interior and exterior windows into a branding showcase.

Window graphics also provided an added bonus of privacy and sun shading with options to allow for full privacy or a one way viewing option that shows the printed window graphic on the outside while still allowing unobstructed viewing from the inside.

GlassMax™ is our most popular window graphic material. This is a one way viewable perforated film that can be applied to interior or exterior surfaces. The desired image, branding, or text is printed on the front of the material, while the backside is pre-colored in black – allowing the image to be seen from the outside and the black to be seen from the inside. Since it does not obstruct the outward visibility, GlassMax™ window graphics are a perfect solution for door wraps or window wraps where light still needs to come through.

Frosted window graphics create the appearance of etched glass without the hefty price tag. A variation of our custom vinyl decals and vinyl lettering, frosted window graphics are a popular option when looking to brand windows and doors with simple logos and graphics. Frosted vinyl window graphics provide a simple, classic, and high-end appearance while also creating a layer of privacy without blocking all light.

For situations where full privacy is desired, or when a fully opaque appearance is needed, window graphics can be made with the same adhesive material that is used for wall murals. This full opaque material with the desired design printed on one side, allows window and glass doors to block visibility and light from the opposite side. This type of window graphic is a great solution to change the function of a room or office from public to private, or to provide stronger light blocking capabilities while adding visual appeal.

Happy Thanksgiving from AMI Graphics

AMI Graphics will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 23rd & 24th, 2017 to spend the Thanksgiving holiday with our families. We will reopen on Monday, November 27th at 8am.

We hope that you have a happy and safe holiday.

Project Highlight: Neumann University Temporary Signage

A private, Catholic, co-educational university located just outside of Philadelphia is home to approximately 3,000 undergraduate students. Fielding 22 varsity athletic teams and 8 club teams, the Neumann University Knights compete at the NCAA Division III level as members of the Colonial States Athletic Conference and the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

With an upcoming inauguration for the University’s new president, the Knights were looking for a quick way to cover up some unused bulletin boards that lined a main hallway in The Mirenda Center where the inauguration would be taking place. The bulletin boards were not being used and made the hallway feel incomplete and unwelcoming. The Knights turned to AMI Graphics for a way to dress up the hallway for the inauguration being attended by important members of the university administration, while also showing pride in their athletic program.

Neumann University Bulletin Boards Before

Since a quick turnaround was needed and the graphics could be removed after the inauguration, it was determined that the quickest and easiest signage solution would be to use temporary adhesive graphics to wrap the bulletin boards for a vibrant, high-end look without a high price tag.

After testing a material sample to ensure that the bulletin boards would not be damaged upon removal of the graphics, the Knights chose action photos of their athletes to add color and life to the blank boards and hallway in the form of small murals. The temporary graphics were quickly printed and rushed down to Neumann University to be installed in time for the Knights to put their best foot forward for the presidential inauguration.

While intended to be temporary, the adhesive graphics were such a big hit that they are being left in place until a larger scale, more permanent graphics project can be completed later in the academic year.

“A note of appreciation for the quick turnaround. We are very appreciative of AMI’s effort. I just walked through our building with our new president as we check off the last of the to-do list before this afternoon’s inauguration. He was really impressed and grateful. You guys helped make us shine today.” – Chuck Sack, Director of Athletics and Recreation, Neumann University
