The AMI Graphics Event Services Team just returned from the 2017 edition of the Runner’s World Half & Festival held in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Based at the grounds of the refurbished Bethlehem Steel Mill, this weekend event hosts a half marathon, 5K, 10K, and kids run, as well as live music, seminars, and more. For the second year in a row, AMI Graphics provided the pre-event strategic planning, print production, event signage installation, and on-site support for this event.
The leaves have been changing in New England for a few weeks and as a sure sign of fall, the 17th Annual Boston Athletic Association Half Marathon was run on the second Sunday in October. Since 2012, AMI Graphics has provided complete event signage services for the B.A.A. Half Marathon including print production services, logistics, installation and removal, and storage.
Fall has officially arrived, and with that has come the end of the Minor League Baseball season. Chris and Ed really enjoyed their time in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina for the annual Minor League Baseball Promotional Seminar. It is always a pleasure to get to see our baseball friends at the end of every season after working closely with them to get their stadium and facility signage ready for first pitch, along with various signage needs throughout the season. We also enjoy getting to hear about all of the successful seasons and promotions.
For the 6th consecutive year, the AMI Event Team spent this past weekend in beautiful Falmouth, Massachusetts installing road race signage for 45th running of the New Balance Falmouth Road Race. Considered to be one of the premier non-marathon races in the country, the New Balance Falmouth Road Race requires a significant amount of event signage for a combination of operational, branding, and sponsorship purposes, while not overpowering the natural beauty of the race location.
Memorial Day Weekend 2017 saw the NCAA Lacrosse National Championships for Men’s Divisions I, II, and III, as well as Women’s Division I, descend onto Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. With a seating capacity of over 68,000 and home to the NFL’s New England Patriots and MLS’s New England Revolution, the NCAA was faced with the task of transforming Gillette Stadium into an NCAA branded venue for the weekend’s events.
Spring in New England can be very unpredictable but despite the minute to minute changes in weather patterns, there is one constant – the Boston Marathon. Rain, shine, or snow, the Boston Marathon, managed by the Boston Athletic Association, has been run every Patriot’s Day since 1897. For the 9th consecutive year, the AMI Graphics Events Team spent the week on-site in Boston preparing and installing event signage for the world’s most prestigious and inspiring marathon.
Part of the PGA TOUR Champions 2017 event schedule is The Chubb Classic, a nationally televised golf tournament held in Naples, Florida at the TwinEagles Golf Club. With the golf course, clubhouse, ancillary facilities, exterior access points, and sponsor areas busy hosting a full week of events including practice rounds and Pro-Am Tournaments in addition to the main event, the need was high for prominent event signage with consistent branding.
The AMI Events Crew was down in Boston this past weekend for the Boston Athletic Association 10K. The 10K starts and ends at Boston Common and winds through the streets of Boston’s Back Bay. This year marks the 6th running of the BAA 10K as well as the 6 year that AMI Graphics has provided the event signage and logistics for the event. We are proud of our strong and continued relationship with the BAA and look forward to many more events with them, no matter the distance!
Monday, April 18, 2016 marked the 120th Boston Marathon and AMI’s 8th year partnering with the Boston Athletic Association. The sun was out for this year’s race along with the AMI team who spent the days preceding the Marathon working tirelessly to install signage along the 26.2 mile course. Check out a video highlighting all the signage here.
