On Friday the 29th of July, the AMI Production Team set sail on a fishing excursion out of Seabrook, NH with Eastman Fishing Charters. We left the docks at 8:00am and two-hours later, we arrived at our first fishing destination. After a few basic instructions, everyone was baited up and lines were in the water and the fish came in quick. Right off the bat, the AMI team managed to reel in Cod, Haddock, and Pollack, hoping to claim one of four prizes…largest fish, most fish, strangest fish, and smallest fish.
The day began with rain, moderate seas, and cool temperatures. As the hours passed and the fishing stayed good, the weather turned out great. After our first fishing spot, we ventured on to a few more farther east, and found calm seas and a clear cool day. Once again, the production team dropped their lines to the bottom and waited for that tug. After a delicious lunch, lots of laughs, friendly competition, and enough fish to fill a freezer, the day came to an end.
The results for the prizes were: Largest Fish- Phil Mackey with a 10-pound Pollock, Smallest Fish- Andy Gilbert with a whopping 4-ounce redfish, Strangest Fish- Eric Charest with an odd looking brown, horned, spotted creature, and Most Fish- Ashley Lader with an incredible 17 fish total.
The day was an over all success. Everyone had a great time, and we were all able to bring home the freshest fish you have ever tasted. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for our next company outing!
