AMI Graphics’ production capabilities feature the latest and greatest technology for digital printing on custom feather flags. Our unique processes means your feather flags are no longer temporary signage solutions, but semi-permanent displays that can be used over a long period of time.

Who uses custom feather flags?

• Custom feather flags are the best eye-catching option for promotions, or for advertising a new space or event.

• Housing developers use feather flags for promoting new builds or expansion.

• We get great feedback from sports venues that use our feather flags, such as race tracks and football stadiums.

• Wineries, breweries and restaurants use flags for grand openings or to denote open/tasting hours.

With AMI, you get the highest quality custom feather flags – and you’ll also get it faster than the competition could manage. We utilize a Durst P5 Tex iSub for printing custom products.

Custom feather flag kits

AMI produces custom tail feather kits and custom feather dancer kits printed on custom-sourced knitted polyester fabric and paired with durable hardware.

Custom Tail Feather Flags

Tail feather flags stay open consistently regardless of wind speed. They can be printed right-reading front and reverse-reading back or can be printed right-reading on both sides. The kit includes the custom printed flag, flagpole hardware and a fiberglass ground stake. Flag sizes range from 7.5’ to 15.5’ heights (from hardware to the tip of the flag).

Custom Feather Dancer Flags

Custom Feather Dancer flag kits are printed right-reading front and reverse-reading back. Metallic streamers provide additional movement in the wind for attracting attention. The kit includes the custom printed flag, hardware and fiberglass ground stake. Feather dancer flags are available in 10’, 13’ and 17’ heights (from hardware to the tip of the flag).

Feather flag dye sublimation process

We have a unique dying process for our feather flags that leads to them last longer and makes the color pop more than our competitors.

Our knitted polyester flags are printed using the newest, state-of-the-art dye-sublimation systems available.

When the dye moves into the gas state, it becomes part of the fabric. The ink won’t scratch away as it’s now part of the fabric. This high quality process separates our product from the competition.

Keeping all our processes in-house means we can pass cost savings on to you while maintaining the best quality available.

Feather flag sewing is one of our specialties

On a given day, AMI has around 25 team members sewing flags. Many of those people have been with us for 20-30 years, perfecting their craft of sewing flags. We’ve seen some of the largest signage companies visit us and what we hear time and again is how impressed they are with our sewing process and team. We have overlapping shifts, so there’s constant sewing happening on the production floor.

Other feather flag producers use many less sewers – maybe five working full-time – or they source the sewing from overseas. We’re able to achieve impressive lead times because we have such a large team of sewers and aren’t relying on shipping materials back and forth around the world.

AMI has printer experts

We have some of the best press operators in the country. Our team members know the software inside out and out. In fact, we’re working with the company that makes our printing software to redesign it so it better meets our high standards. We also have people on the floor that can literally take printing presses apart down to the ground and put them back together. Most companies can’t say the same. Instead, they wait for outside tech support, slowing their process.

AMI has the technology and the production team to produce your custom flags fast, and will provide a high-quality product that will last. Contact us today with any questions on customizing your next display.
