Project Highlight: Azusa Pacific University Locker Room Graphics

Located in the suburban Los Angeles area of California, Azusa Pacific University is a private, evangelical Christian university. Serving over 10,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students across more than 100 academic programs, Azusa Pacific fields 17 intercollegiate athletic teams competing at the NCAA Division II level as the Azusa Pacific Cougars.

After some recent conference and national success, the Cougars Men’s Basketball team was looking to upgrade the painted concrete walls of their locker room. After understanding what the Cougars were looking to do in their locker room, the team at AMI Graphics conducted a site visit to confirm measurements and provide an accurate estimate for the scope of the project which would consist of branded wall murals. Wall murals are a great way to give any area of a facility a fresh, new look without the cost of a full renovation.

Taking advantage of AMI’s creative design services, the Cougars conveyed their vision for the locker room graphics and the AMI designers brought their vision to life with a design for wall murals that recognized past team accomplishments while adding color and team pride to the previously blank walls of the locker room.

Upon design approval, the wall murals were printed and installed during the Cougars winter break. The branded wall murals celebrate team accomplishments surrounding the entrance door and school branding around the room above the lockers. The upgraded locker room now energizes current players and impresses potential recruits visiting campus.
