Managing a professional sports venue that serves multiple teams requires more than signage; it requires a stadium branding system. At LECOM Park in Bradenton, Florida, that system must support both the Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training and the Bradenton Marauders Minor League season, each with distinct branding, sponsors, and fan experiences.

For more than a decade, AMI Graphics has partnered with the venue to execute a complete stadium branding program, delivering consistent, high-impact visuals across every part of the facility, and transforming the space between seasons on a tight timeline.

The Challenge:

  • One venue
  • Two teams
  • Two completely different identities
  • Little time between seasons

Each year, the ballpark must shift from a major league Spring Training environment to a Minor League home field in a matter of weeks. That transition impacts nearly every visible surface, including:

The challenge is not just about scale; it is about speed and coordination. Spring training concludes, and within a small window, the entire venue’s stadium branding must be transformed and ready for opening day of the Minor League season.

Our Solution for Stadium Branding

AMI Graphics manages the process as a comprehensive, repeatable system, supporting both the initial spring training install and the transition into the Marauders season.

Full Facility Stadium Branding

We prepare for Spring Training in early January across the entire property. Work spans both exterior and interior environments, including:

  • Box office and marquee signage
  • Ticket windows and promotional displays
  • Parking, wayfinding, and safety signage
  • Pole banners and flags throughout the concourse and grounds
  • Concession and menu board graphics
  • Dugout, lineup, and field-level branding
  • Outfield wall signage and sponsor placements
  • Scoreboard and large-scale structural graphics

The result is a full stadium branding environment that delivers a cohesive experience for fans from arrival through the final out.

Seasonal Changeover

Following the conclusion of Spring Training, AMI manages a rapid changeout to transition the stadium for the Marauders season.

This includes:

  • Removing or replacing Pirates-specific branding
  • Installing Marauders graphics across key fan-facing areas
  • Updating sponsor messaging, pricing, and promotions
  • Swapping banners, flags, and adhesive graphics
  • Refreshing dugouts, lineup boards, scoreboard and field-level visuals

Because many elements are designed for efficient updates, the process is streamlined without sacrificing quality or consistency.

Materials and Methods

To support both durability and flexibility, a range of materials and systems are used throughout the facility:

  • Cut-to-shape rigid signage for parking, wayfinding, and safety applications
  • Adhesive graphics for walls, dugouts, and structural surfaces
  • Vinyl banners installed in banner frame systems for easy seasonal updates
  • Pole banners and flags for high-visibility branding throughout the venue
  • Dry-erase graphics for lineup and operational needs

Each solution is selected to perform in an outdoor stadium environment while allowing for efficient removal, replacement, or updates as seasons and sponsors change.

Standout Installations

While the project spans the entire facility, several elements stand out for their scale and visibility.

Scoreboard Rebrand

A recent scoreboard project required the removal and replacement of large-scale panels, including new structural components and a graphics installation. The size and complexity of the structure made this one of the most technically demanding aspects of the project.

Outfield Wall and Field-Level Graphics

The outfield wall and surrounding field-level areas are a primary visual backdrop during games. Updated graphics ensure consistent branding for both in-person fans and broadcast visibility.

Concourse and Concessions

With the transition to digital menu boards, concession areas were reimagined with large-format adhesive graphics, creating a refreshed branded environment while maintaining flexibility for pricing and promotions.

Custom Feature Elements

Unique features, including large decorative structures within the venue, are maintained and rebranded as needed, reinforcing sponsor visibility and enhancing the fan experience.

A Long-Term Partnership

This project is the result of an ongoing partnership built over more than 10  years. That continuity allows AMI Graphics to:

  • Understand the full scope of the facility
  • Plan and execute seasonal transitions efficiently
  • Maintain consistency across changing branding needs
  • Deliver reliable results year after year

As materials remain in place across multiple seasons, the focus shifts from full replacement to targeted updates that improve efficiency while preserving visual quality.

The Result

The Bradenton ballpark delivers a seamless transition between two distinct seasons, with branding that remains consistent, professional, and impactful across every area of the facility.

Fans experience a fully immersive environment, whether attending Spring Training or a Marauders game, while the ballpark benefits from a streamlined process that supports both operational timelines and long-term durability.

Looking Ahead

As the partnership continues, the focus remains on refining the process, adapting to new branding needs, and identifying opportunities to enhance both efficiency and visual impact across the stadium.
